I have another one there, simply called "GPS", when selected
there is another level letting you choose between:
 - Electronic Compass
 - Simple Navigation
 - ASTROTRACER

I am using 'Simple Navigation' myself, to quickly have it show me
the direction and distance to a previous picture location.

No, no need for it to be even on the camera ...

No, but it has to be there (and 'ON') for the RAW/Fx button to actually
perform that selected function, otherwise it simply does nothing at all.

I suspect you need the latest firmware version for
those menu changes, my K5 is at version 1.11

(You see the version if you press/hold the menu button at power-up)
