I have another one there, simply called "GPS", when selected there is another level letting you choose between: - Electronic Compass - Simple Navigation - ASTROTRACER I am using 'Simple Navigation' myself, to quickly have it show me the direction and distance to a previous picture location. >Are you saying that if you have the O-GPS1 on the camera that another >option for "Astrotracer" shows up in that menu? No, no need for it to be even on the camera ... >If so, does the O-GPS1 unit have to be turned on to see that option? >(Guessing "yes") No, but it has to be there (and 'ON') for the RAW/Fx button to actually perform that selected function, otherwise it simply does nothing at all. I suspect you need the latest firmware version for those menu changes, my K5 is at version 1.11 (You see the version if you press/hold the menu button at power-up) Regards, JvW ------------------------------------------------------------------ Jan van Wijk; http://www.dfsee.com/gallery -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
