When you say flash, what do you mean? Does any kind of display flash
garbled like, or just the backlight flash on and off, with nothing
displayed on-screen?

Hi David:
The backlight flashes on and then off. I have to cycle the power button half a dozen to a couple of dozen times before the backlight comes on and stays on.

thanks

Hi:
I have a Samsung 225BW monitor which has decided to go rogue on me. When I
wake up my screens, it will flash on and then off again. If I cycle the
power on and off a few times, it will light up and stay lit.
Is this something that is repairable or should I just trash the thing? It's
my second screen, so I'm not really too concerned that it is kind of a crap
monitor, and I fear that if I replace it, I'll buy another good screen
($$$$).
