I stopped driving in 2007. At that time, texting had not taken off like it is now. But probably not. Students yes, homeless and disenfranchised are probably stealing other passenger cell phones. Not texting. Same resulting chaos interrupted by inane chatting amongst themselves.
Ask Dave Brooks. He probably hears nary a peep on his routes. Is he still driving, or just birdwatching?
