And those core values are? The K5 is an excellent camera for the price. The K30 is probably even better in terms of "per dollar". Weather sealed and most of the K5 IQ with better AF. We are the ones thta have changed. We all harken back tot he days when Pentax released a new body every 5 years but now complain about the 2 year old K5.
