The Apple AirPort Express is a WiFi component which can serve as your primary
WiFi modem, or it can join an existing network as a repeater. Plug a printer
into its USB port and you have wireless printing from anywhere on the WiFi net.
Connect an audio cable from the audio output on the AirPort Express to the Aux
input on your stereo and you can stream audio from your computer (or your iPad
or your iPhone) to your stereo. Part of what Apple calls Airplay. I imagine
that there are similar non-Apple solutions also available.
