Hi Dan. I've got a Sigma 50mm 2.8 MF macro. Got it on Ebay for under 30 quid. I've mostly used it for copying 35mm slides on a light box and it does a good job of that - but I can't comment on bokeh. If you could get one at that sort of price, it would be worth a punt.
