If by "Americas," you mean the US, we have no "moral & social values." Instead, we value diversity and individual freedom. Your reference to San Francisco is a good case in point. If you go to the tourist areas, or the business areas, of the city, you will not see the kind of display that you witnessed. Like many of our cities, and many European cities, like Copenhagen or Amsterdam, there are areas where alternative life styles are not only tolerated, but actually encouraged. If one doesn't want to see nudity, pot, or other sights that distress or offend you, one avoids those areas. There are plenty of places in the US where pervasive wholesomeness is almost overwhelming. We like it that way.
