Read some of the responses and Scott Bourne's comments on them, and it devalues 
his arguments when
he insults people like Tobias W.  Tobias may not be correct in everything he 
said, but there is no
need to adopt the tone and phraseology that Bourne does.
Like some others on this list, I still use film and process my own for B&W, but 
use a lab for C41
material (have only stopped using E-6 because I can't find a source for 
developing kits in
Australia).  It is insulting to assume, as Bourne does, that the images made by 
me and others like
me are always inferior to those he and other digital users produce: if he can 
produce digital work
of the quality shown by Adams and others of the film-era masters, I'd like to 
see it.
Otherwise sensible advocacy of digital for some purposes is invalidated by an 
unforgiving  posture
and an inability to accept a different point of view.
