Most Pentax primes will be somewhat better than this 18-135 but it really is an incredible versatile lens with a huge zoom range, and focussing very fast compred to most other lenses. It is my favourite 'walk about' lens on my K5. On hollidays it is ogten that lens and the BIGMA (50-500) that I have with me, and 95 percent of the shots will be from the 18-135.
