Dear Darren & my PDMLer Friends who responded to "This is stupefying",
I tried to caution all of you much much earlier.
Similar topic has been posted time and again in almost all photo forums.
I sent a personal note again to Darren as to how he should proceed and
check when the parcel arrives.
Even the great B&H took me for a ride with a brand new K20D I ordered
in early 2009 - sent me a camera with over 600 shutter actuations.
This is what I wrote to all of you much earlier:-

The price issue and reliability of sellers on Amazon and evilbay have
come up several times. Even sellers like Adorama and some others have
sold returns, store demos or de-boxed items.
A select few do receive brand new stuff, but then we may not be the
lucky guy. This is usually done by splitting the body and the lens
from the kit. Also full US or International warranty may not be
covered.
At just $ 95 more the Pentax K-5 II is an awesome deal. But tell me,
the Pentax K-5 IIs has one component less - the anti aliasing filter -
so why is it not selling cheaper than the K-5 II???
I bought the K-5 with the 18-135 WR this January from Henrys of
Toronto for CAD 1108 shipped with (2) years warranty. CAD & USD was at
par then. So assuming the 18-135 WR costed $ 425 - B&H $ 529.99 &
Amazon Seller $ 467 in Jan 2013 - the K-5 Body costed only $ 683.
And I got brand new stuff with shutter count (1) from the first photo.
Regards.
Bipin.
