Graduating from an Ivy League college today is much
more difficult than when I did it.
Wonder what you base that on?
I graduated in 1966 with a BSME (144 credit hours) in 4 years. During the
school years I had some time for other things and was able to work full time
during the summers.
My son graduated around 10 years ago and was constantly being told by school
counselors that he should reduce his credit hours per semester and take 5
years to graduate.
This would have greatly reduced my school work per semester, probably
resulting in higher grades.

Dartmouth, my alma mater, was chartered in 1769 as a school for Native
Americans. It soon took sons of English colonists as well, when few
natives enrolled. Over the past 30 years, the school has greatly
expanded its recruiting of Native American students. The stole worn
by this graduate represents the Native Americans at Dartmouth student
organization.
