Quite. Like I said earlier, it sort of brings cheap plastic feel to a
whole new level, but I can live with that as long as the lens works
optically. And this also means it's really light, which can be very
convenient.
Funny that some folks have been complaining there's no reasonably fast
normal lens in the Pentax lineup.
Well, you've got to have *something* to complain about...

You may wish to note that these shots are essentially uncropped; I've
trimmed the images every so slightly where the scanner left skewed or jagged
edges, but that's it. So, they may say something about the "full-frame"
performance of the lens, although what I've done is nowhere near a
scientific test.
