I've left pentax WR bodies on tripods in the rain for hours. No ill
effects. The other day I slid down a hill accidentally. I had dirt all
through the front edial. I rotated the e-dial clear (still works fine)
and took the camera and rinsed it off in a sink and blasted the e-dial
with water while I rotated it.. No problems. A very slight scuff was
the worst that happened. Pentax cameras are tough.
