Last week I slipped and fell on a slick muddy trail. Then when I stood up, I
bashed the top of my head on an overhanging tree which knocked me back down
again. Not my most graceful moment! As I was standing there with blood running
down my face and dripping off the end of my nose, (waiting for my companion to
dig out something I could use to put some pressure on the wound) all I could
think was that I had successfully held the K-5 and attached DA12-24 out of the
mud and away from the dripping blood. Blood dries up, wounds heal, but to mess
up a camera or good lens would be a real bummer!
