I can assure you that a K-5 will simply blow you away.
If you do a lot of low-light autofocus, the K-5 II is noticably better.

I believe that the K-50/K-500 have focus peaking, which can be
very helpful for live view and low light manual focusing. 
I've not used a Pentax that has had it. 

I don't know how shutter noise on the K50 and K500 compare with the K-5.
