That's good to hear. The 1400 was the last laptop project I was involved with that shipped prior to my leaving Apple for a two year stint at Sun Micro (1997-1999). The engineering team gave me one as a going away present, which I used all through my time at Sun. It was a good little machine. Personally, however, I have come to like the current laptop and full-size wired keyboards the most because the are flatter and quieter when typing.
