Sort of what I figured when Paul only mentioned that it had room for the
spare SD card & didn't mention the remote.

I haven't had an unintended shutter push with the grip on (K-5

not have a place to keep the remote trigger. It does have a slot for
a spare SD card.

I understood what you meant.
It's not really a fault of the battery grip, it just manifests
itself there whenever I carry my camera with one of those sling
straps.

The shutter. Damn autocorrect.

Yes, it has a slot for a spare card. I've never inadvertently
tripped the shorter, and the grip is always on.

Battery grip for the K-5. I won't leave home without it.
Another vote for the grip! Got one already...funny, but
I've never really warmed up to it. Hmm. I should
probably try to use it more & find a better groove…
It simplifies vertical shooting considerably, and with a
big lens, like the 60-250, it provides better blaance.

Does K5 battery grip provide the space to hold a remote & a
spare SD card?
The vertical shooting function can sometimes be a pain.
Leave it turned on all the time and every time you bump the
camera it trips the shutter. Or leave it turned off until you
need it & find out it's no longer working.
The extra battery life is worth the aggravation from the
other, plus being a lot easier to change batteries if you've
got a spare handy. The place to store a remote & spare card
is a bonus.
