Not really. By the time I'm ready to make a good print, the negs are 
flat.

I get newton rings with glass.

Saunders 670 VCCE.

I haven't found there to be a big difference between big and small 
negs wrt printing.  With 645 negs you have to turn the easel the 
"wrong" way, but that's about it.
