Thanks, Bob. It hadn't occurred to me to check out the options other than h/w and ppi for setting size of images on export. Looks like everyone sets the long side and uses 72ppi. I'll try that with different lengths, e.g., 960 and 1200. Your comment on the duodecimal system led me to check out the wikipedia article on it.
