1) You will need a green laser pointer.

2) be very careful that the intensity of the laser pointer beam doesn't
burn out any sensors that might be active when looking through the lens,
metering, autofocus etc.

3) I'd be inclined to make a plate that fits between camera and tripod 
that mounts the green laser parallel to the lens.  That way you could 
also see it through the viewfinder.

4) I picked up a red dot spotting scope for use with my bigma and bushhawk
some time back and a mount to attach it to the hot shoe. That worked pretty 
well, particularly once it was scoped in.
