Paul, I'll never know, but that glass of scotch was at least printed bright enough that I feel my K-5 would have had no trouble focusing on it. May have to mix up a few this evening and give it a try. (Hic!) Jack

Last night, when I shot my glass of scotch in near darkness, I couldn't help but think that while noise at ISO 51200 may slightly exceed that of the K-5 (as noted by Bill). I couldn't have taken that pic with the K-5, as it would never focus in that minimal amount of light. Looking forward to getting out and shooting some birds. But locked in editorial hell right now.
