The 135-600 doesnt lend itself well to a tripod ( use a monopod instead )
because the tripod mount on the lens is very near to the lensmount.
This puts it out of balance and EXTREME stress on a conventional head.
You need a REALLY beefy tripod to mount the lens, i wouldnt try it
with a triod rated at only 11 lbs.
