There was a rumor that Ricoh bought Pentax for it's distribution
channels. What I know for sure is that the official Pentax distributor
in Romania now also carries Ricoh cameras and the Ricoh GR gained some
attention.

I just got the K3 in the last days of 2013 after a long wait. I didn't
use it enough to draw a conclusion, but no problems with AF so far.
Only minor complaint I have is that I'd like the status screen off by
default and bring it up with the push of a button. Same as Bruce I
think. Fiddled with it for some time, but it can't be done without
multiple button presses.
