That’s largely been accomplished in the K-3, at least in comparison to previous
Pentax offerings. I’ve never shot more than a frame or two with a Nikon or
Canon, so I can’t compare it to the sales leaders. But I’m quite pleased with
the autofocus performance.

It'll be quite some time before I can make the K-3 plunge, given that I
really will need to invest in a more robust computer to handle the files.
I'm wondering if I'd be better off just getting the improved auto-focus
of a used K-5 II -- even though I would like the extra increased number
of focus-points in the K-3.
