I have been using my Pentax 20-35 MM and a Sigma 70-300 MM and have been mostly happy with the results from these two lenses on my ist DS. But the man in the middle is an elder lens (Tamron 35-135 mm Manual Zoom and focus) and I think it is time to replace it. It seems as though both Tamron and Sigma have mid range zooms that have received nice reports. I have been pleased with my long Sigma and may be swayed in that direction. But before I go do something, I am curious about what the group would go to and how they think a future camera upgrade might affect the choices?

Cheers John G.
