sounds like the perfect opportunity to get a 50mm prime; i really like
the SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7, but if you need autofocus i understand
the DA 50/1.8 is quite good for the price.
Took the words right out of my mouth -- well, except for the DA 50/1.8,
which I've never used.
