Also, the 360° spherical-panorama-in-one-shot camera Pentax showed in
prototype form at a trade show a couple of years ago is in production
as the Ricoh Theta and they've set up a partnership with Google to
have spherical images linked on Google maps. Pretty cool, I think. And
I don't think the old Pentax, or even Hoya, would have had the clout
to set up such a deal with Google.
