It's what Ricoh said was going to happen. DSLRs would be Pentax, compacts would
be Ricoh.

If anybody had doubts, the clearance sales on WG-III at the end of the year was
a strong indicator that there would be a new WG type camera.
Very clever the way they are handling the transition. They keep the camera line
(e.g., WG-1, WG-ii, WG-III, and now WG-4), while rebranding from Pentax to
Ricoh. Maintain tradition in the midst of change.

Ricoh appears to know what they are doing. This is the first time in
nearly 30 years that Pentax seems to have their act together.
