That's good to know about, if I was ever tempted; unlikely though. I do everything I can to keep the camera speed high, including turning off the rear LCD so it doesn't waste time making previews (or flash bright crap in my eye while framing the next shot). The only feature I have enabled is the dual-card-write redundancy, but it doesn't slow it down enough for me to notice.
