IF you really don't want to upgrade your OSX, the alternative might be to install one of the emulators (VM-Ware or Parallels) with Win-7 (or Win 8, Win8.1) on it and install DNG 8.4 on it. This way you'd be able to convert the Fuji XT-1 RAW files to DNG in Windows, and then do the rest in OSX. Not the easiest way, but might solve your problems.
