Years ago, one of the staffers for Modern or Popular Photography described how people 
rolled their eyes and groaned when she'd shoot away at a party...then be delighted 
when they received the prints. 

Here in the USA, most of us have seen the touching Kodak TV commercials about a shy, 
strange ("Goth") teenage girl who uses her one-time camera to snap candids of 
schoolmates, then assembles the results in a montage, to the delight of all.
