Does it have English subtitles?

I haven't seen it yet, but it's had rave reviews from all the people in my
French cinema class. Of course for some people that may not be a
recommendation...

The NewYorker article by David Denby on 2014's best movies said "Pawel
Pawlikowski’s “Ida” is by far the best movie of the year." I remember
having watched the trailer and wanting to see it, but had forgotten
about it until I read that.

I found it on Amazon Prime (member view for free) and I'm writing this
after watching only 22 minutes of its 1:45 running time. If you love
photography or videography, and you have not yet seen it, you MUST
watch this film. Each and every scene is a lesson in composition. It
is in B&W and for that reason the lighting is also easier to see. It
is also a fascinating story.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, if only as a lesson in fine
photography. I hope if you watch it you will share your impressions.
