I've just had an e-mail in from a dealer telling me about the new Canon EOS 5DS & EOS 5DS R, which both feature 50.6 MP sensors. At this rate, the DSLR will be taking on the medium format market as well. The thought of buying a new body and lenses is bad enough, but with the file sizes these cameras must provide, post processing and storage means a real think about computer hardware as well.
