No, and at £2999 & £3199, that won't happen anyway! I've seen some wonderful detailed enlargements taken from an *ist D and was about 6MP wasn't it? I can appreciate that professional want detail for some images, but how much MP is enough? I'm stunned at what the K3 produces. Anyway, my FF desire might be satisfied this weekend. I have the offer of a Nikon D700 which has hardly seen any use (used for a day out and then realised he was - and I quote - 'seriously overcamered' and not used much after that experience), and the D700 I have always liked. I've been offered it at the p/ex price he was given for a camera he does like and has used before.
