This isn't answering your question, but maybe fixing your sign-in problem. I suspect that your sign-ins aren't working because they are being intercepted/stolen by malware. If AVAST is involved, it may be that AVAST is trying to prevent the theft.
I would, if possible, download the Free Version of Malwarebytes and install it. Run a Scan and if it finds stuff see if Malwarebytes can get rid of it (quarantine it). You will probably need to reboot your computer after doing this. Some particularly nasty spyware prevents you from downloading or installing Malwarebytes and if that is the case you have a problem, but Malwarebytes is the best program for dealing with this sort of stuff.
