They took us to a lovely little French restaurant on the head. When he took us

nightmarish but he zipped through some back streets and got us through in no time.
I'd hate to think what the houses cost out there.
I'd been thinking in Melbourne that I'd sooner live there than Sydney, but then
I saw the harbour again... just unbeatable. The initial plan for Christchurch
was to build it at the head of Lyttelton Harbour but I think it was either the
land being unsuitable for agriculture, or the fact there were two rivers on the
plain, that caused the city to be built where it is.
