Speaking of hood depths & such, and bringing this thread
around to the Pentax 6x7 as should be :^)

I finally removed the rubber hood thingy that came on my
105mm f2.4 and found, to my delight, the bayonet access
set-up. In an experimental mode, I attached the rectangular
bayonet hood from the 150mm and found no vignetting in the
groundglass w/ prism removed. Consequently shot a few frames
w/ the last of my expired "CheeseRoll" 50asa films of a few
harbor scenes and a good-sized fishing vessel backing into
its berth. f4 at 1/500th for the moving boat and a MLU'ed
few at f11 w/ trusty 6x7 firmly placed on a conviently level
3x12inch railing overlooking the yacht basin & harbor.

2 rolls of Lumiere left in the old stash from the fridge, as
        well as several assorted b&w & C-41 types. Have a 5-pack of
        E-100vs and 4 Fuji 400-F's, some asst Portra NC's, 3 D-3200's
and a 220 each of NPH & NPZ (these for an upcoming aerial
adventure) fresh from B&H to work thru next.

... may use one of the 400F's tommorrow night at the theatre
w/ flash. No decent C-41 printing locally, so my intention
w/ the 6x7 is mainly E-6 - which will drasticly reduce
operational costs as per a different thread, not to mention
a better commercial potential in the Hotel Brochure corner.
