Look at it VERY CLOSELY for micro-bubbles indicating compound lens
separation. Had one that looked fine looking straight through it, but
on closer examination and tilting at JUST the right angle I could see
them. Explained why the images from it looked like CRAP.
If you get a chance to test it, us a long-ish lens 300mm, if possible.

Is the seller an idiot/clueless? If so, it may be a good deal. If not,
things that sound too good to be true may actually be too good to be
true.
