I think that the key point is that list price is dropping, and with luck
that will ripple down throughout the price chain.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to conjure money out of thin air,
and looking at options for buying a K-3 or K-3 II. Amazon has the K-3II
for $850, and a couple of "warehouse deals" for $740.
As an aside, if anyone has a K-5 (or K-3 or K-r or....) that they're
looking to part with for an attractive price, I'm quite interested.
I can't help but note that my K-5 also died just before the K-3 was
released and prices on K-5s dropped.
