I don't know, lots of Nikon D300 shooters are still waiting for a "true"
replacement, if I can believe the DPReview message boards...
I really don't think that Ricoh is planning on abandoning the semi pro
APS-C DSLR market. The K-3[II] is just following the pattern of every
DSLR, introduce it at an outrageously high price for early adopters,
then slowly, or rapidly, depending on your point of view let the price
sink to it's proper level.
Hell K-5 cameras NIB are selling for more than K-3 cameras. I'd have
expected that the last stocks of those would have been blown out at real
fire sale prices by now.
