Being an old film fogey, who shot exclusively slide film, my mantra has been
and continues to be - get it right the first time.
I'd imagine alot of the newbies to photography, that have never shot film
use the initial capture as a starting point.

Makes me wonder -- how many tolerate errors on the digital image knowing
they can probably be corrected in PS and how many want to get it right at
the shot?
