Sorry - a typo in my orevious post might cause confusion - corrections as capitals:

Peter at Camera Direct has the NiCad Packs for about �120 (I think). The chargers are simple two-prong affairs that take either ~110v or ~230v and turn it into a trickle of ?v ?m/A straight into the NiCad Pack. >2) how do they work - it's a dumb charger I presume, without any > electronics inside to watch the battery... You plug one end into a wall socket, the other into the NiCad Pack, switch the NiCap Pack on, and a small light glows on the charger.
