The font designer and his representatives are in for a nice pay day
(much more than they would have received if it had been properly
licensed). It is clear that the plaintiffs have documented everything
before bringing the action. Very similar situation to what one can do
with illegally appropriated photography. The bigger the infringer, the
bigger the payday.
