There were legendary A* 200 macros, I know some list members have a copy. One 
on eBay right now with a BIN of $3300 IIRC. That is a fair price.
There were a handful of FA* 200 macros; I had one and sold it to another list 
member. 

And there have been some off-brand 180mm macros with a good reputation.

But the market for macro lenses in general and for long macros in particular 
just doesn’t seem to support a high volume (and lower cost) product.
