Firstly, I forgot to load you up with freebie bottles when you were in 
the store.  We have lots, and they're perfect for storing your mixed 
chemistry.  Next time you're in I'll load you up.

I used to play with the hot and cold taps with my thermometer under the 
running water until it was the right temperature, and then use that to 
mix up my chemistry, and develop pretty much right away.  Temperature is 
not so critical in stop, fix or wash, as long as it's not overly cold or 
hot.  Developer is the only really picky one.
