And from the first photo Paul posted, it looks like this one still had
the hand crank starter. Or was that just for show?

0170.  I'm not familiar with the Model T engine.  What's the lump on
the top of
the starter motor/alternator?  The electrical connection seems to be
to earth
and therefore superfluous.
