switched to Win 10 without his telling it to... which lead to my tool bar button paranoia -)

I turn offf my computer and modem every night these days... every couple of weeks when I do that it asks me NOT to powerdown my computer because it is doing updates... in fact, it prevents me from shutting it off... everything else is hunky dory but I wonder if , in fact, it is bit by bit (no pun) it is slowly
upgrading me behind the scenes.

His computer is working ok, he just doesn't like it. - cant find out more as he is out of the country now
