Other makes of telescopes will have similar accessories. Maybe your
friend already has the adapters, and all you need to supply is the
t-mount.
That would be my guess. Do you have a recommendation for a T-mount?
All I know is that I don't know what I need, or how to get a decent
one without spending lots of money.
Whatever suits you, I suppose. They're all simple and cheap. The last
one I got was a Bower...about $10.
