Feisol got their start making tubes for racing bicycles IIRC. The major difference between their construction and Gitzo seems to be that Gitzo wraps their CF cloth on ta bias, while Feisol does a straight wrap. I've been told the bias wrap is better, but I don't know it that's true or if it was a Gitzo fanboy talking..

I don't think they have a Canadian distributor. feisolcanada.com directs to the USA distributor feisol.net.
And I was young and very naive and only had a K100D Super with a plastic 18-55 to support when I got my Manfrotto stuff. Seemed like a good idea at the time ... :)
