My Feisol CT3442 Tournament legs are about ten years old and show no signs of
wear or age as yet. They've been used a lot.

I looked up the latest version and note that they've been uprated to 55lbs load
and have the new "rapid anti-leg-rotation" technology in the leg locks. The
anti-rotation gizmo would be nice, it would speed up their use a good bit. As I
said, I find the weight ratings absurdly optimistic—even the old ones!—but a
set of these legs will handle an 8lb+ camera and long lens very well. They're
also very light and easy to carry: all up weight of legs and head with carry
bag is four and a quarter pounds IIRC.
